Welcome to our blog!

A little bit about us: We are the O’Briens. We were married in 2005 and are loving our life! Brandon is an author, editor, and Director of Content and Distribution at Redeemer City to City. I (Amy) used to be a children’s minister, and now I get to teach, write curriculum and work as a children’s ministry consultant.  Oh, and I get to spend every day with my two mains: our son Jamie and daughter Eliza. Brought to us by adoption, they keep me pretty busy and constantly learning and growing. We’re figuring out how to do this whole NYC thing as a young family.

I use this space to blog about faith, my children, adoption, life in NYC with young kids, and, well, anything that comes to mind. I have some strong opinions and this is a great place for them. 😉 But seriously, I love to write and I love getting to share some of our life with each of you. So, welcome. We hope you enjoy.
